Booty Island

Booty Island is the one of the islands featured in the game Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. Its Governor is Elaine Marley, who has moved to the island to get away from her boyfriend Guybrush. Later, in The Curse of Monkey Island, it is revealed that Booty, Mêlée and Plunder form the Tri-Island Area, over which Elaine is Governor. Though it is referred to in later adventures, Booty Island does not appear in any other Monkey Island game.

Description
Booty is a festive island that perpetually celebrates Mardi Gras. The main town of Ville de la Booty features a thriving commercial district, and Booty's governor Elaine Marley is one of the most respected and loved governors around, although her mansion is quite remote from the rest of the island.
Geography
Booty has a very curved coastline, with several bays, peninsulas and small offshore islands. Several areas of coastline feature cliffs, and the interior of the island varies in height. Ville de la Booty, the port and main town of the island, is located on the southern coast of the island. Located at the far north-west of the island is the Governor's Mansion, on a small offshore island connected to the main body of Booty Island by a narrow spit of sand.
