Castaneda

Senor Castaneda is a supporting character in Escape from Monkey Island. He plays chess on the Lucre Island docks with Mister Santiago. He has a not-so-secret crush on Brittany, the bank teller, and carries a picture of her wherever he goes. His playing partner Santiago insults him in various ways once they get into a heated argument over their chess-game, at one point calling him French Candidate.

Castenada is a thin pirate with an eyepatch.
