Dominique

Dominique is an unseen character who is mentioned in the first and third games. He is introduced when the Citizen of Mêlée asks Guybrush: "Do you have a cousin named Sven?" as some kind of a code. Guybrush responds truthfully: "No, but I once had a barber named Dominique," to which the map-seller responds: "Close enough".

The character is mentioned a second time by Edward van Helgen who mentioned that Dominique used to be the fourth in barber-shop quartet of the Barbery Coast. According to him he was a tenor and left due to artistic differences. This prompts Guybrush to try audition for Helgen.

The close promiximity to the name of Guybrush's voice-actor, Dominic Armato, is purely coincidental.
