Full Throttle is an adventure game by Tim Schafer, released in 1995.
The game tells the story of Ben, a biker in a post-apocalyptic future. Adrian Ripburger, a disgruntled employee of Corley Motors, attempts to rise to the head of the company, which is the last maker of motorcycles in the country. After Ripburger's failed attempt to kill Ben by sabotaging his bike, Ben begins a quest for vengeance.
The game's graphics were designed by Jonathan Ackley and Larry Ahern (project leaders on The Curse of Monkey Island) and featured the voice talent of such seasoned actors as Roy Conrad, Mark Hamill and Kath Soucie. The rock-group Gone Jackals provided several songs for the soundtrack (including the iconic theme song); the game's soundtrack has become a collector's item.
The game introduced the verb-coin interface which was used in the third Monkey Island game.
