Lucre Island is the second island featured in the game Escape from Monkey Island. Guybrush Threepwood sails to Lucre to meet his wife's lawyers in order to save the Governor's Mansion on Mêlée Island.
Lucre Island is the largest urban area in the Tri-Island Area. Its main town, Lucre Town, is a wealthy city with well-developed infrastructure, including a working sewage system. Despite the island's emphasis on commerce, it is a pirate-friendly island before Ozzie Mandrill shows up.
Lucre Island is one of the larger islands of the Tri-Island Area. Its closest neighbour appears to be Dinky. The island is a mixture of jungle and swamp, with the its most prominent feature being the Mysts o' Tyme Marshe in the centre of the island. To the south of this, on the longest stretch of beach on the island, is Lucre Town.
