Slappy Cromwell

Slappy Cromwell (his stage name; his real name is Rex Fortune, Adventure Seeker) is an actor in the stage production Speare! on Plunder Island. He was, in his own words, compelled to re-write Shakespeare's plays into a forty-five minute revue, because nobody came to his performances. This act became known as Speare: A Theatrical Medley. After Guybrush tricks Mr. Fossey into quitting piracy, the Pirates of Danjer Cove come to see Slappy's show at The Long John Silver Center for the Performing Arts in Puerto Pollo.
Slappy's agent is Palido Domingo. According to Palido Slappy used to perform on Blood Island before the hotel there lost its popularity. Slappy also works with another actor, a large man in a pink dress who is always found in an onstage balcony.
Guybrush ends up sabotaging Slappy's juggling act in order to get on stage to uncover the buried Elaine. Slappy ends up flying into his co-actor and both are ejected from the stage, which Guybrush concludes (uncertainly) is a happy ending because he "got the girl in the end?"
He is voiced by Victor Raider-Wexler, who also voiced the Snowcone Guy.
