Spiffy's restored closeup

Spiffy is a small white dog who Guybrush meets on Mêlée Island.

In the original game, Guybrush meets Spiffy in the Scumm Bar and attempts to talk to him about LeChuck. Talking to Spiffy, however, turns out to be quite useless. Most of the time he is chewing on a bone.

Trivia

Back of the Secret of Monkey Island box, where Spiffy is seen in the lower right corner, saying "Woof-woof, arf."

• Originally a close-up of Spiffy was going to appear in the game (and is shown on the original box art) but the image was removed due to space issues. The close-up does not appear in any version of the game. However, in The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition the close-up finally appears for the first time.
