The Sea Cucumber

The Sea Cucumber is a ship that appears in The Curse of Monkey Island, where it lies anchor in Danjer Cove on Plunder Island. At first infested by monkeys, Guybrush later takes command to sail it to Blood Island.
Crew
Before Guybrush commandeers the ship, the crew of the Sea Cucumber consists entirely of primates. The captain of the ship, Captain LeChimp, is actually an ape, who is assisted in his duties by Mr. Fossey. Their greatest endeavour was to steal the golden statue of Governor Elaine Marley from the beach near Plunder Fort, though it isn't long after this that 'LeChimp' convinces Fossey and the crew to abandon the ship.
After seizing the ship, Guybrush becomes captain of the ship, and his crew members on the journey to Blood Island are Haggis McMutton, Edward van Helgen, and Cutthroat Bill.
Journeys
Guybrush ends up getting sidetracked when he has to get his map to Blood Island when it's taken from him by Rene Rottingham. During this time it's revealed that the Sea Cucumber wasn't very well armed, only possessing the lowest level cannons. Guybrush battles several ships and their pirate captains in the seas around Plunder Island to upgrade to higher level cannons and eventually defeat Rottingham.
The Sea Cucumber is carrying Guybrush from Plunder Island toward Blood Island when it is caught up in a storm and shipwrecked on the coast of Blood Island. The three pirate barbers mutiny against Guybrush and begin repairing the ship so they can sail back to Plunder Island. Guybrush, ironically, provides the cheese 'tar' to repair the ship in order to obtain some hand lotion.
Elaine and Guybrush later sail away on their honeymoon on the Sea Cucumber. It is unknown what happens to the ship after this—it is assumed the ship seen at the beginning of Escape from Monkey Island is not the Sea Cucumber.
Battles
The Sea Cucumber is involved in a number of battles in the seas surrounding Plunder Island. Guybrush fights several pirates before fighting and defeating Rene Rottingham and regaining the map to Blood Island.
