Walt

Walt is a dog who guards the jail on Phatt Island.
Walt holds the key to the jail cells in his mouth and keeps watch on the prisoners. Guybrush manages to escape in the second game, however, by giving Walt a bone in exchange for the keys. He is seen again at the finale of the game carrying away LeChuck's dismembered leg.

Walt the dog was inspired from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Disney Land. He was also named after Walt Disney.
