Blade of Dragotta

The Blade of Dragotta is Morgan LeFlay's sword, named for Dante Dragotta, who taught her how to sword-fight; his name is inscribed on the blade. The blade appears at Guybrush's throat at the end of the first chapter of Tales of Monkey Island, thus appearing before Morgan herself does (although her voice is heard).
The sword plays a few important roles throughout Guybrush's and Morgan's adventures. In "The Siege of Spinner Cay" it is responsible for cutting off Guybrush's Poxed hand. In "Lair of the Leviathan" Guybrush confiscates the sword from Morgan while they are in the giant manatee, and uses it to decapitate Santino (already an (inanimate) skeleton), allowing him to replace the head with Murray the talking skull. Guybrush reinstates Morgan's 'sword privileges' when the Democratically United Brotherhood of the Manatee Interior attacks him, and she makes short work of them. Guybrush borrows the sword once more to decapitate "Santino", scaring his crewmates into co-operating. After they become imprisoned by Coronado De Cava and his crewmates, Guybrush hands the sword back to her and allows her to cut the rope holding his cage, busting it open and freeing him.
Morgan uses her sword again when she duels Elaine Marley in Club 41 in "The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood", but is unable to fend off LeChuck who impales her with it in De Singe's lab. In "Rise of the Pirate God" Morgan's ghost retains her sword in the afterlife, and uses it to duel with the Swordfighter with Guybrush's help. Later, after Guybrush closes the Crossroads on LeChuck, she is allowed to use the blade to stab the Demon Pirate God while Elaine simultaneously stabs him with the Cursed Cutlass of Kaflu, destroying him for good. Morgan keeps her ghostly sword when she returns to the land of the living (with help from the Voodoo Lady) as a Ghost Pirate Hunter.
