Plunder Island

Plunder Island is the first of the three new islands featured in The Curse of Monkey Island. It's described by the Voodoo Lady as being a sort of retirement community for ex-pirates and their spouses, and one of the main islands of the Tri-Island Area. Its capital is Puerto Pollo.
All Guybrush's actions during Parts II and III take place on or in the waters near the island. It is also referred to, albeit erroneously, as "the Island of Puerto Pollo" in Escape from Monkey Island. This is where Guybrush gathers a crew and acquires a boat and a map to Blood Island, and is the residence for the Voodoo Lady in this game.

Description
With the exception of Puerto Pollo the island is heavily forested. Puerto Pollo is located in the bay of the island. Some of the notable locations include the Brimstone Beach Club to the east across the bay, Governor Elaine Marley's Fortress just at the edge of the bay, the swamp-area at the southern centre of the island, and Danjer Cove on the opposite (dark) side of the island from Puerto Pollo. The island also has an active naturalist society who are dedicated to the placing of informative plaques all across the island with detailed information on the local plants and animals.
